Tom Blodgett is an editor of the Gilbert, Arizona, edition of Community Impact Newspaper and editorial adviser to The State Press, Arizona State University's independent student news organization. He formerly was an instructor at ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and an editor at Republic Media. Raised in Phoenix, he is a graduate of ASU and Brophy College Prep. He worked for Republic Media for 30 years. Additionally, he's a a softball coach and fan, education and community involvement advocate, and a husband and dad.
